FT to compose the score for the film Gould Lover

Production has begun in Munich and surrounding areas on the international feature film Gould Lover, directed by French German filmmaker Andy Sommer. The film tells the story of legendary pianist Glenn Gould in New York in 1968, at a decisive moment in his life and career. The role of Gould is played by British actor Jack Farthing, alongside Sophie Mousel and David Kross.

The original score for the film will be composed by Francesco Tristano, bringing his distinctive musical voice to this cinematic portrait of one of the most iconic figures in piano history. Gould Lover is produced by Amour Fou Luxembourg and Amalia Film in coproduction with several European partners and in collaboration with ZDF and ARTE.
