surface tension: pre-order
You can now pre-order the Surface Tension LP on iTunes, and receive the track The Mentor feat. Derrick May as a gift.
Originally developed as a way create new material for Tristano’s p:anorig project, which finds the artist surrounded by large array of keyboards, synthesizers and other equipment (although ironically, no piano) in full view of the audience — Surface Tension grew into a project in its own right.
Surface Tension will be release on November 25th on Transmat Record.
p:anorig next stop: ADE
After a successful evening (and too much fun) at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Japan as well as Telecom Electronic Beats in Berlin, p:anorig will take place on October 22nd ADE.

p:anorig new dates
After previewing p:anorig during Sonar week in Barcelona, we are proud to announce new dates for Francesco Tristano’s new project.
p:anorig is the new concept of Tristano’s live act, an installation complete with a combination of music, light, architecture and interior design speaking the language of minimalism. At the center of it all is an amazing centerpiece live performance rig—inspired by the shape of a grand piano—that holds all of Tristano’s keyboards and gear. Derrick May is featured here as guest artist in a rare live performance.
October will bring the new shows of p:anorig in Germany, Japan and Netherlands.
