Techno-meets-classical collaboration with Carl Craig, FT, Les Siècles Orchestr, guided by François-Xavier Roth, ‘Versus’, is now available.

‘Versus’ originally premiered in 2008, with a unique live debut at La Cité de La Musique in Paris, where Carl Craig was joined by Les Siècles orchestra conducted by François-Xavier Roth, Moritz von Oswald, and Francesco Tristano, who arranged and orchestrated all the tracks. Now, nine years later, ‘Versus’ comes to life as an album.

Carl Craig will also be taking Versus on the road for a string of festival performances, where he will be joined by five musicians on stage interpreting the music from the album on to a synthesizer wall.

Sandstorms’ was originally released in 2004 on Carl Craig’s mythical EP Just Another Day. The 12″ features the studio version of the Versus orchestral adaptation, enhancing the highly cinematic and evocative nuances of the original and the unreleased VCO update version, both carefully crafted by Carl Craig himself, on blue-coloured vinyl.

Symphonic versions of Carl Craig’s classic material, re-enforced and magnified by Les Siecles Orchestra. Iconic French conductor François-Xavier Roth is at the helm of the symphony whilst InFiné mainstay Francesco Tristano supports on piano.
