“Surface Tension” was created to be the music of p:anorig, and will be released next November 25th on Transmat Records. The eight-track record includes four collaborations with Derrick May.

After previewing p:anorig during Sonar week in Barcelona, we are proud to announce new dates for Francesco Tristano’s new project.

p:anorig is the new concept of Tristano’s live act, an installation complete with a combination of music, light, architecture and interior design speaking the language of minimalism. At the center of it all is an amazing centerpiece live performance rig—inspired by the shape of a grand piano—that holds all of Tristano’s keyboards and gear. Derrick May is featured here as guest artist in a rare live performance.

October will bring the new shows of p:anorig in Germany, Japan and Netherlands.
