Techno-meets-classical collaboration with Carl Craig, FT, Les Siècles Orchestr, guided by François-Xavier Roth, ‘Versus’, is now available.

‘Versus’ originally premiered in 2008, with a unique live debut at La Cité de La Musique in Paris, where Carl Craig was joined by Les Siècles orchestra conducted by François-Xavier Roth, Moritz von Oswald, and Francesco Tristano, who arranged and orchestrated all the tracks. Now, nine years later, ‘Versus’ comes to life as an album.

Carl Craig will also be taking Versus on the road for a string of festival performances, where he will be joined by five musicians on stage interpreting the music from the album on to a synthesizer wall.

On April 13th, Francesco Tristano will be at Thüringer Bachwochen presenting Goldberg City Variations. Where he draws a new vest of his famous Goldberg Variations, a tribute to the composer and architect Iannis Xenakis and his idea of the Cosmic City. Based on this, Tristano has developed a visual design concept, which is generated in real time by his own game. Then, on a large projection surface, a city is created, live-controlled by the music and built from the musical structure of Bach’s work.

Programm:
