Original order from La Folle Journée de Nantes, Time Lapse is an original show created by Ezra and Cie Organic Orchestra, in collaboration with pianist Francesco Tristano.
Passing amazingly from the classical repertory to electronic music, jazz or contemporary music, Francesco Tristano is an atypical artist liking the mixture of genres and periods. Ezra for his part, is the founder of Cie Organic Orchestra, which is focusing for a few years now, on defining a contemporary soundscape associating the musical creation with the visual and interactive creation. Using the Human Beatbox technique – which consists in playing music with hier mouth by creating rhythms and by imitation other instruments -, Ezra creates an audible and visible material that pushes forward the limits of the body and the performance. With his interactive glove (B-Glove) he is able to control the video as well as sound and light effects. Martin Hermant for the IT development and audio processing, Patrice Guillerme for the sound, Olivier Clausse for the stage design and light creation and Alexandre Machefel for the video creation are with Ezra and Francesco Tristano the actors of this interactive and poetic show.
